By drop shipping our mail directly to the DDU it allows us to bypass the Sectional Center Facility (SCF) and work directly with each delivery unit. Since SCF's are responsible for so much volume often times mail can set on the dock for days or sometimes weeks. In many cases these plants employ hundreds of people. This makes it very hard to locate a given piece and get an accurate timeline on when the mail will be arriving at the DDU. Our specialty is drop shipment via UPS directly to the DDU. This is a much more accurate and reliable way of getting time sensitive mail in the mail boxes. Each shipment comes with a unique UPS tracking number enabling each party log on and track each package in real time and allows us to work directly with the postmaster at the smaller, more controlled DDU. After all, you can have the greatest message at the lowest price but it is WORTHLESS if it is not on time.
