The data is not DMV data, nor is is purchased from the state, but is compiled from various auto related retail services. This data complies with the DPPA and Shelby Act of 2000.

The propensity modeling uses existing customer data and other exclusive data resources to analyze current and future vehicle purchasing characteristics and to test and improve marketing campaigns.
